I’m reporting from Milan by now, however, there’s a London chapter left to be written about. My last London Fashion Week presentation was the show of Ashish, which I think was a remarkable season finale. The audience’s need for shows that present their collections in a non-traditional way gets bigger year by year. Ashish perfectly fulfilled this expectation, it’s creative and brings smiles to many spectators’ faces through its exciting and unexpected twists.
The collection brought the standards that are suitable for the brand’s artistic philosophy. Glitter, glam, a little trash lifestyle and a massive dose of joy of life conquered the runway on the last day. The fabrics were extremely light, but as a consequence of the different kind of applications, the result was very extravagant. Even if one doesn’t wear these creations on weekdays, they might definitely be good choices for special occasions.
Ashish fits London Fashion Week perfectly. The spectacle, the style and the loose attitude, all spreading that facinating atmosphere that London pumps into the fashion fans during the fashion week, minute after minute.
